In the beginning
Gold Dust was formed in 2005 and grew from a one-off party night which rejuvenated the Soul scene for an over 25s crowd in Reading. These club nights were a huge hit from the start attracting mature clientele from mainly the South of the UK as well as established DJs and live personal appearances from well-known artists on the UK Soul and RnB scene which enhanced the reputation of these nights.
The Gold Dust party generated a unique ‘party’ atmosphere that set it aside from an ordinary club night and was aptly described as a ‘the ultimate soul reunion’ due to it being hosted only 2-3 times per year.
In 2013 Gold Dust Radio was added to the brand offering a community Reading based internet station to extend the experience and to connect to the loyal increasing following.
A platform to showcase talent
Over this period of growth and increasing popularity, the brand has indirectly become a media hub embracing new music, artists and bands by way of promoting them.
We aim to give ordinary people the platform to showcase their talents wherever they are in the world via our extensive network of friends and partners. Our vehicle offers a broad range of entertainment and content, incorporating radio, art, event management services, food and fashion.
