Darrell S

Darrell has been DJing for 30 years and was part of the Urban Groove Sound when he lived in Banbury, Oxfordshire. He has played all over the UK at some of the best underground Soul nights. 

When that chapter came to an end, he started to spin for Soul Network which is London's biggest Soul night, and he is also a resident DJ, at Soul In The Algarve which occurs once a year in May. He is also a resident at 'It's A Music Thing' in Oxford, playing Soul and R'n'B and hosts 'Love Saturday events, with good friend Shaun Gallagher, in Oxford and the wider county. 

He has been writing for The Soul Survivors Magazine for 14 years and hopes to keep doing so, as long as he can retain all of his marbles! 

He has made the transition into broadcasting on radio, and hosts a show once a week on Campsoulfestival.com where he can express his love for Broken Beat. Another adventure begins at Gold Dust Radio with the “Left, Right & Centre” Show, where he will be playing the very best in Soul, R'n'B, Broken Beat and House every Saturday, 12:00pm, GMT.
