Lee Curtis
A record collector from the age of 4, Lee started DJing in the 90’s after being asked to promote his band, the Flavornaughts for Ninebar Records in clubs like The Blue Note & The 333 Club around Hoxton Square, London Where he made a name for himself as a producer in the Trip-Hop scene.
As well as being a resident DJ at the Alphabet Bar in Soho for 8 years, he DJ’d for a couple of years at the Purple Turtle and Po Na Na where he was a regular DJ at the Breaking Even nights at Plug & Play and the Fez Club.
He had a short spell on the now defunct Interface Pirate Internet Radio Station, one of the first internet radio stations in the UK.
Lee now aims to further his radio experience and share his broad music collection by bringing “The Connection” to GDR, which will be an eclectic mix of Soul, Funk, Jazz, Blues, Hip-Hop, House, DnB, Trip-Hop, Reggae, Latin, Afro & more! “It should be like walking Into a Cool London Bar”.
