A collective of vinyl record crate diggers, DJs, promoters, but most of all, purveyors of the good groove.

The Promised Land was founded by James Hickford in 2015 presenting a weekly Sunday night show on DemonFM in Leicester. He has teamed up with Craig Davids, Phil Gaskell & Ninja Bob hosting a range of events in Leicester & Nottingham venues, plus DJ residencies at The Cookie, The Orange Tree, Bar Dos Hermanos, street food events with Canteen and LCB Depot, plus guest sets in Leamington Spa, Leeds and Cafe Belgique in Amsterdam.
